Before the opening day, the group of visitors including more than 20 guests from Korea, England, Germany, Russia … visited three shipyards in Ho Chi Minh City area: Saigon Shipbuilding Industry Corporation SSIC, Hai Minh Military Shipyard (ie X51), Tan Vien Dong Shipyard.
INMEX exhibition for many years has always received support from associations, industry and industry organizations. Especially, the booth number D01 has become a connecting point, a place attracting the attention of domestic and foreign visitors. “A booth is small, but always crowded” – that is Mr. Meng Seng Loh –a visitor from Singapore- comment . VISIA’s booth also introduced many activities, especially a map of Vietnam shipbuilding network- a chart published with Singapore-based MapSGlobe advertising company, with hundreds of copies free for all visitors. This is the first version publishing , has been commented by people, especially the VR branches throughout the country. MapSGlobe will bring the map to show at all regional and world maritime exhibitions, for example this exhibition in Indonesia this fall and especially the Marintech event in Shanghai later this year.
In addition to seeking partnerships, Visia booth also highlights cultural activities with publications, magazines … written by teachers, researchers of Maritime Universities.
At the exhibition forum , “Vietnam Shipbuilding – An Overview” was presented by engineer Le Loc, a spokeman of VISIA, with many listeners from the UK, Germany and Korea …
Also at the Exhibition, Mr. Do Thai Binh had a presentation to launch the 3rd edition of his “ English – Vietnamese Maritime Dictionary “ . And the book “From Paper to Electronic Chart” writen by Captain Tieu Van Kinh was given to Mr Tom Mellor -Head of Digital Standards at the UKHO- a speaker at this INMEX forum
Mrs Marjan Lacet, Trade Promotion Manager of Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT) said: To learn more about Vietnamese shipbuilding panorama, after this exhibition, she will lead the Dutch trade delegation to visit northern Vietnam shipyards.
INMEX Vietnam 2019 is the 7 th maritime industry exhibition, focusing on a comprehensive display of fields such as shipbuilding, service and engineering, marine equipment, as well as supply chain management solutions. .
