APM- Asia Pacific Maritime taking place every even year draws the attention of Vietnam shipbuilding circle. Attending this APM 2018, our VISIA sent a team including 4 members as follows : Ph D Tran Hung Nam, M.E. Le Loc, M.E. Do Hung Chien and N.A. Do Thai Binh , Vice-President as team leader. (Can look at their CV by click on the link ). Among our participating businessmen, there are two ship designers   , N.A. Bui Ngoc Thuan and N.A. Ngo Hong Quan. In the conference 15th March at Blue Deck Level 1,Hall A, from 3pm-3,45pm , “Spotlight on Vietnam-The rise of Vietnam-Understanding Vietnam’s potential in Asia”, M.E. Le Loc will acting as a panellist .

As a CEO of Vitechco (htpp:// Ngo Hong Quan has collaborated closely with 189 Military Shipyard  produces high quality produces, which are aluminium alloy catamarans . Recently, USS Carl Vinson air-carrier visited Tien Sa port , Da Nang province. Due to natural condition, she must anchored 3km far from the quay. Two catamarans  with the name “Greenlines number K7” and number C9 have played a key role in shipping up and down the American sailors and Vietnamese visitors . On this occasion, our Visia-Vietnam Sci-Tech Shipbuilding Association have a gift for our American friends, it is a sailing junk model.

With his Italian friend Michele Lauriero, N.A Bui Ngoc Thuan set up a company as multicultural imprinting of  their organization is a main strong point. Their inspiring principle is to merge together the Italian experience to the Vietnamese dynamicity with the purpose to move the ship design in Vietnam full speed ahead!  Four fields of their Vimatech company are : ship design, marine engineering, project management, consultancy .
